The Legends Bollywood Dance Championship was created in 2016 to help over 150 South Asian collegiate dance teams and 50 competitions showcase their talent, spread South Asian Culture, and compete for prize money. Each performance integrates various styles of dance such as hip-hop, bhangra, contemporary, and classical all while telling a story and spreading a message.
Legends was founded by former dancers as a means of staying connected to the community of South Asian performing artists, something that has become our driving force through the years. This year, we are excited to be hosting our annual competition in CHARLOTTE on April 15th, 2023. We can’t wait to see y’all at Queen City for Legends 2023 to experience the #journeytothecrown!
